New pictures of Emma and family
Finally some new pictures from us the family of 4 or perhaps I should say 5 or 7 or hmmm… yes we have visitors. Denis mom left to day after a long visit, my parents are partially here my dad come down for a short visit and my mom is still here.
We are all doing well, Ella loves to hug and kiss her sister, Emma doesn’t really mind all the attention as long as she gets her food, she is a good daughter that sleeps well, and except for a nasty diaper rash she is doing very well and has gained in weight and height.
Enjoy the pictures!

Follow Up!
Denis Posted: So, the long awaited follow-up! Mommy and baby are doing well. They are still in the hospital for the moment and are planning on coming home on Tuesday barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Daddy and Ella have been hanging out, going to the playground, and visiting mommy. This morning, Daddy and Ella brought mommy breakfast for Mother’s Day. We packed a bag with a waffle iron, waffle batter, fresh cut strawberries, champagne, orange juice, and coffee. We totally surprised mommy and the hospital staff by making Belgian waffles in her room.
Upon good recommendation from Aunt Shannon, we purchased Ella a new doll which she quickly also named Emma. Ella’s Emma is also at the hospital with mommy and baby Emma. Both babies will come home the same day from the hospital which should help Ella with the transition into our new expanded family.
We also snapped a few shots of a funny occurence; mommy was nursing Emma and so Ella decided to nurse her Emma too…

Easter 2007
We decided to spend Easter at home doing stuff around the house and just relax… well we didn’t really spend that much time at home but we did have some good times with friends and enjoyed the warm and sunny weather as much as possible.
Ella and I did some Easter decorations around the house, here she is standing in front of a traditional Swedish Paskris with feathers in different colors.
We got invited to Sam and Becky’s house on Saturday for brunch and an ester egg hunt for the kids and as always it was a nice some what crowed event with old and new friends it was so much fun and the food was terrific. The egg hunt was of course the main event for all the small and big kids, like we needed more candy
Easter Sunday morning Ella discovered that the Easter bunny had been in our garden and left lots and lots of eggs and goodies all around our yard and after she had to sample moste of the good stuff and play with some of her gifts.
Sunday we went to brunch again! This time it was at the PHV mess hall and with our good friends Sean, Lori and their daughter Claire, the brunch was so so but the company was great.

Ella and Tina went to Sweden.
This was our last trip to Sweden before baby Emma gets here, we went to Sweden to relax, meet up friends and have a good time. We had a great week with beautiful weather, no rain!! And hung out a lot with cousin Algot and Aunt Titti but also with mormor(grandma) and morfar(grandpa).
We arrived very late Saturday night at Kastrup, Copenhagen where Aunt Titti came and picked us up, thank God for sisters J
Sunday the day after we arrived was the Swedish Waffle day, so we sat outside in the glass house of my parents and ate waffles til we couldn’t stand looking at another one, yummi!

Ella and Morfar’s farm outing
As promised over the phone a week before our trip Morfar promised Ella that he would take her to see some farm animals, especially cows and horses. She talked about that everyday from that phone conversation til they actually left together on Wednesday afternoon. She got to see, calves, horses, lots of sheep and she also made friends with a cat that keep following her around and of course she did not mind at all.
And one day as soon as Morfar figures out how to send the pictures we will all be able to see them
Tropikariet in Helsingborg
As you might have guessed this is a place with lots of creepy crawlys, this was our outing on Thurday and the whole family came along, grandparents, our great grandpa Tage, Titti, Algot and of course Ella and I.
It was a nice walk through rainforests with free flying birds, bats and jumping silk monkeys, we saw lots of different snakes, spiders and other little creatures, Ella had two favorites the lemurs and the tropical fish. We where very lucky to be there only 4 days after one lemur had two babies, so cute! We did have some close encounters with the lemurs as well just check out the pictures, sorry about the quality.

.
After our tropical experience we where ready to have some coffee, well you know it was almost three o’clock then so it was perfect timing, so we drove to the mall, Vala and had some coffee and cake at Robert’s coffee, yummi.
We did get to see some friends too, here Ella is playing with Martha and Melker in Hoganas and they have an electrical car that was of course the main attraction of the day…
We also visited Marika och Isac in Angelholm a very short meeting but never the less important.http://www.turist.engelholm.se/

After 13 years we met again…
Tyler a long “lost” relative from the states came and visited us on this way back to the states. He is at the moment working as a firefighter in
Iraq… not the safest place in the world but some one has got to do that job too and he really seems to like it
He only visited for a few days but he/we got to see and visit a few places, like:
Burg Frankenstein where Mary Shelley in 1818 wrote her famous novel: Frankenstein.
We also got to see Schloss Auerbach.
We also visited the city of Heidelberg and got to see Schloss Heidelberg and the old brigde. But since we only took pictures with Tylers camera I can’t show you any from there…
What I can show you is his first BIG beer at the Schwetzingen Brewery, this city Schwetzingen is also the asparagus capitol of Germany. We met up with friends ours the LaFlamme family and enjoyed good food and beer, well atleast some people got to enjoy the beer
There was of course also some time to meet with some cute girls, especially this little girl liked Tyler alot… and enjoyed spending time with him.
One last picture of Tyler, Ella and Denis.
